Nihon Kohden OrangeMed, LLC offers Technical Service Training for Nihon Kohden’s NKV-330 Ventilator, NKV-440 Ventilator, NKV-550 Ventilator and AIR-550 Air Compressor. Our technical service training is intended for Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) and field/in-house service technicians to learn how to operate, conduct preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate Nihon Kohden ventilators. During the training, service manuals and support documentation materials will be provide to participants.
Training Outline:
NKV-550
Day 1: Introduction – Overview of NKV-550 ventilator, cleaning, PM, and basic service information and processes.
Day 2: Hands-on disassembly and reassembly of breath delivery unit (BDU).
Day 3: Operation verification of reassembly and troubleshooting.
NKV-440 and NKV-330
Day 1: Introduction – Product overview, PM, basic service information and processes of the ventilator.
Day 2: Hands-on disassembly, reassembly, calibration, operation verification of reassembly and troubleshooting of each ventilator.
Registration
Registration is required for all training courses and is on a first-come, first-served basis. as our class size is limited to ensure an exceptional hands-on experience.
Registration should be submitted no later than two (2) weeks before training start date.

- Customer outside of the United States must contact their local Nihon Kohden office or Nihon Kohden OrangeMed tech service team techservice@orange-med.com for registration details.

Airport:
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) (approx. 45 mi/ 72 km from OrangeMed).
- John Wayne/ Orange County Airport (SNA) (approx. 5 mi/ 8 km from OrangeMed)
NOTE: If you are connecting through any city other than Los Angeles, we recommend you check to see if you can have a connecting flight to Orange County Airport.
Accommodation:
The hotels listed below are closest to the training location of Nihon Kohden OrangeMed office.
Travel and accommodation fees shall be covered at participant's own expense.
Lunch and snacks will be provided for the training period.
